Camp Quality Convoy Victoria
After a year off, the Camp Quality Convoy Victoria will hit the road again on Sunday, 7 April. An event that welcomes trucks and motorcycles, the last Camp Quality Convoy Victoria saw more than 300 trucks take part, raising funds for Camp Quality’s programmes and services for children (13 and younger) growing up with cancer and their families. This year’s convoy will see a change to the programme based on feedback from the 2017 event, with a show ‘n’ shine added to the day. Australia’s leading provider of aftermarket truck and trailer parts, Truckline has announced it will continue its support of the event and is also entering a special guest in the Convoy. The new International Pro-star demonstration truck will take a break from its tour around Victoria to feature in the day’s activities. All trucks and motorcycles are welcome to take part in the convoy, which starts at Avalon Airport near Geelong, touring the region before returning to Avalon for the show ‘n’ shine and a range of family-friendly activities, including face-painting for the kids and a raffle. The convoy departs from the Viva Energy refinery at Avalon at 8:00AM, returning by approximately 12 Noon, with the day wrapping up at 3:00PM. Convoy entry is just $25 per bike ($50 per truck). Public entry to the show ‘n’ shine is by gold coin donation. The fundraising goal this year is $100,000. An auction to win the ‘lead truck’ position in the convoy will be held on 28 March – 6:00PM to 9:00PM - at White Rabbit Barrel Hall, Little Creatures Brewery, Geelong.
