Cat set for Brisbane Truck Show
After making its debut at Brisbane in 2011, Cat Trucks will be displaying its 2013 products, including the highly anticipated Cat CT610, Cat CT630 and the all-new Cat CT630LS. Cat Trucks will be on Stand 51 at Brisbane.
"In 2011, the Brisbane Truck Show was the launching pad for the Cat Trucks brand in Australia," said Bill Fulton, Cat Trucks managing director for Australia and New Zealand.
"Two short years later, with more than 500 Cat Trucks on the road, our product is developing a strong reputation for delivering customer value and t this year's Brisbane Truck Show gives us the opportunity to thank our customers for their support, and to showcase for them and new customers our new models and expanded product range."
Models on Display Include Cat CT610, CT630 and All-New CT630LS. This year's stand will combine the distinct visual aspects of the new Cat Trucks and their versatility with a strong focus on their power, practicality and functional benefits.
"The Cat Trucks on the stand look great, and we're excited to have as many customers as possible come by see the trucks and the stand and talk with our team," Fulton said.
"Our focus on the stand will to put meaningful information into the hands of visitors through product displays and seminars that highlight the vehicles' outstanding fuel economy, aerodynamics, light tare weight advantages and other features and benefits that will impact our customers bottom line."
Whilst the stand remains under wraps, Fulton provided some detail about the Cat Truck products that will be on display at the show. "We will be showcasing the highly anticipated and extremely fuel-efficient new CT610 with the CT13 engine with both manual and Ultra-Shift transmissions.
"The CT630 and CT630LS both feature the ever-reliable, customer-preferred ADR80-03 CatC15 engine, which requires no EGR or SCR."
Fulton also added, "We are really excited about the new CT630LS luxury sleepers that we'll have on the stand, which feature industry-leading aerodynamics, space and comfort."
Additionally, all the models utilise leading-edge LED driving lights, which provide the driver with added safety for driving conditions at night, and minimize reflective glare. LED driving lights will be standard fitment across all new Cat Trucks.
"This is step-change improvement in night-time driving visibility and safety for our customers," Fulton said.
The Cat Trucks stand will also include CT13 and C15 in-chassis engine displays, and will feature seminars throughout each day, hosted by engineering staff and open to all show visitors. The seminars will provide more details on the engines' technologies, as well as updates on fuel economy testing and explanations of the trucks' other features and benefits.
The Cat Trucks stand will also include a display highlighting "All Truck Parts," which was recently launched in Australia through the Caterpillar dealer network. The programme provides trucking customers of all North American makes with quality OEM parts from leading suppliers, at highly competitive prices. Show specials promoting the programme will be made available to trucking customers.
The stand will also display a comprehensive range of Cat merchandise and Cat Boots, which will be available for sale to the public for the duration of the show.
