Hino Australia continues to win parts, service awards
Hino Australia’s commitment to its customers has been recognised by Hino Motors, Ltd. with a 15th successive Parts Department of the Year Award, 12th consecutive Service Department of the Year Award and third successive Parts Excellence Award.
The Parts Excellence Award was introduced in 2019 and is awarded to a small number of Hino distributors that demonstrate overall excellence, including ensuring a consistently high supply of parts to dealerships and customers.
“These accolades reinforce the outstanding commitment that our tireless team of dealers and head office staff have to our customers,” said Greg Bleasel, Vice President – Product Support for Hino Australia. “We are proud to again receive these awards and they will continue to motivate us to constantly improve.”
Contributing to Hino Australia’s string of awards is a new Parts Distribution Centre that opened in 2021 and has facilitated record-breaking sales growth for Hino Genuine Parts of 15 per cent, year-on-year.
“Featuring innovative technology and almost twice the capacity of the previous facility, our new Parts Distribution Centre provides us with the flexibility to further improve efficiencies with the distribution of Hino Genuine Parts to our dealer network, providing our customers with even higher levels of support and service,” Bleasel added. “Its increased capacity allows us to store a wider range of Hino Genuine Parts, including larger components such as engines and cab assemblies.”
Credit given to the Hino Australia network of dealers was extended to the in-house technical training programme that ensures local service technicians maintain, diagnose and repair Hino vehicles in the most efficient way possible.
“Importantly, there has been a strong emphasis recently on Hybrid Electric training to support the significant increase in 300 Series Hybrid Electric sales over the past 12 months,” Bleasel continued.
“Recruitment and retention of local and overseas technicians remains a key focus for Hino Australia, and we encourage qualified and aspiring technicians to contact their local dealership to discuss employment opportunities.”
