Kenworth extends partnership with Supercars

Kenworth, one of the longest standing sponsors of the Supercars Championship, recently extended its partnership with Australia’s premier motorsport category.

Kenworth provides transportation support for Supercars at every Australian round – travelling more than 35,000 kilometres each season.
The new deal will see Kenworth continue as the ‘Official Heavy Duty Truck Partner’ of Supercars until the end of 2025, which will be their 26th consecutive year as a partner of the category.
 

As part of the extended partnership, Kenworth will also continue to provide specialised trucks serving critical functions during Supercars events. In July, two new prime movers were delivered to Supercars HQ on the Gold Coast - a Kenworth T610 and K220. Both units feature a full suite of safety options, including adaptive cruise control, stationary vehicle braking, collision mitigation, driver alerts, lane departure warning, highway departure warning and braking, autonomous emergency braking and multi lane autonomous emergency braking.

The T610 prime mover comes equipped with the Euro 6 engine that boasts next generation emission standards via the Euro 6 platform, optimised to maximise fuel efficiency.
 

In addition to their sponsorship support and provision of vehicles, Kenworth has also retained exclusive rights to the official drivers’ parade at the iconic Repco Bathurst 1000. Since its inception in 2006, the Kenworth Drivers Parade has become one of the most anticipated traditions of the four-day event.
