NTI expands authorised repairer network
National Transport Insurance (NTI), Australia’s number one transport and logistics specialist insurance provider, has expanded its national network of Premium and Local Repairers, allowing transport operators around the country to be back on the road faster following an accident.
The network’s new additions come from Royans, Australia’s largest truck and trailer accident repairer, who have 27 locations across Australia and New Zealand. Thirteen Royans outlets are already a part of the NTI network, but this latest expansion adds a further seven, made up of five Premium and two Local Repairers, spread over metropolitan and regional areas.
The NTI Premium Repairer network now numbers 27 outlets across Australia, all of which meet NTI’s strict criteria around specialist skills, workmanship, facilities, equipment levels, industry experience and trained tradespersons. Supplementing the Premium Repairer network is a further 39 Local Repairers for smaller, less complex repairs.
Royans was founded in 1944 and has been a partner of NTI for more than 20 years. They’ve also been involved in the Premium Repairer Council, while their expertise in repair and refinishing has seen them assist on seven of the NTI charity vehicle restorations that have been raffled as fundraisers for MND research.
Adam Craft, NTI’s National Manager - Repairer Networks, said the Premium & Local Repairer Network is all about making sure trucks are repaired and back on the road as quickly as possible without compromising safety.
“Our customers can go to any of NTI’s Premium or Local Repairers with their claim number and the repairer has automatic authority to start repairs,” Craft said.
“All NTI repairers in our network must meet the highest level of standards around facilities, equipment, skills, knowledge, and experience. They also must live and breathe NTI’s core values and provide an excellent customer experience.”
With getting back on the road as soon as possible being paramount to many transport operators, Craft added that independent research showed NTI’s Premium Repairer network, on average, gets claims repaired nine days’ faster than their competitors.
Royans’ partnership with NTI began in 2004 when Royans Brisbane was the first repairer on the east coast to adopt the high Premium Repairer standards.
“Since then, Royans has grown its Premium Repairs offering to six branches,” Craft explained. “We’re thrilled another five are being added to our Premium Repairer Network, with another two Local Repairers also joining.
“NTI is constantly reviewing the landscape to see where we may need more repairers to help our customers in their time of need. The additional Royans repairers are in a mix of regional and metropolitan locations on key transport routes across Australia.”
Royans’ National Sales Manager, Graeme Sharp, said to be named a Premium and Local Repairer, their additional workshops had to meet NTI’s strict criteria and pass an audit process.
“It's always been great to work alongside the NTI team to provide the best outcome for our mutual customers, during what is generally a very difficult time,” Sharp said.
“By expanding our offering to NTI, this partnership will now provide even further benefits for our mutual customers, over and above the additional locations. Royans will provide industry leading service, repair quality and turnaround time.”
