1937 FEDERAL Vintage Truck. Classic Restoration. Timber tray with drop sides. Bolt in body to convert the tray area into an 18 seat bus body. This bus body can quickly be removed. Four bolts and its ready to be lifted off.The body .has upholstered seating and tinted glass panels for the front and sides The glass panels take about 20 min to fit or remove. Hercules six cylinder petrol engine. Fully rebuilt, as was the gearbox. Truck was kept as original as possible .To make the truck user friendly, non standard additions include, 12 volt electrical system, LED lighting, brake lights, LED interior light ,blinkers and westcoast mirrors. The restoration was down to every nut, bolt and washer being removed from the chassis and rebuilt from there. The fuel system features a new stainless fuel tank under the drivers seat. There is a switch activated electric fuel pump that charges fuel to the new carburettor. Starts within a couple of cranks all the time. The lift pump is very handy if the truck has sat for any period of time. The little kids love the Klaxon Horn. So do the big kids. The pictures tell the story but this is a very through restoration which was finished in 2012. The ability to carry up to 18 people transforms this truck from a flash old truck into a Party Busl. Its done weddings at Tamworth Armidale, Uralla,Bowral and Perisher. Winery Walkabout trip at Rutherglen and Grenfell Henry Lawson Festival. The bus body and timber tray have just been removed for a makeover. Nothing to do but enjoy it. Would make a wonderful promotional vehicle or flagship of a bus hire business.
