Mack Truck B43 B61 B model 6x4 bogie drive quad box 237 turbo C
Description :
THIS TRUCK IS A B43S Bogie drive , Guess it is 1950 to 1960 I have a frame number and plate so the exact year could
TRUCK HAS BEEN STRIPPED DOWN TO CHASSIS (Photo number one is before it was taken apart about 4 years ago)
Chassis is in VERY good condition . They do not need to be split at the rails (unless you are a very fussy restorer and want to do a "ground up" re build )
ALL body parts have been sand blasted and primed (some of the inners guards etc have been painted black ready to go )
Fuel tanks and air tanks are painted two pack silver as per pics
Doors have had ALL rust cut out and plated and are ready for final prep for paint.
Guards have been panel beated and are ready for filler .
Guards and bonnet , nose come are all rust FREE .
Cab is blasted and primed , It has a lot of rust but definitly worth fixing (sand blasted and primed at least it is no longer rusting !!!)
Cab number two is rusty but may be of use for rust sections.
Has a 237 C motor out of an R600 i have seen running before i bought it.
Has a quad box that i am told is in good useable condition.
Also comes with the original ten speed "Duplex " gear box that was in good cond.
Tipper Hydraulics on the Duplex that worked .
duplex has a Nissan UD4 two stroke engine that runs well but has head gasket or coolant leak (not sure really i pulled it out to put mack engine back in )
Has most of the badges and dash / interior to put everything back together.
I love this truck , but have to face reality of too many projects and a young family.
Please ring me (leave a msg if out of range reception is terrible)
Located Denmark Western Australia can help with transport.
Cheers
Bo
