Just arrived - This 1958 Dodge Tray Truck is an absolute beauty. This was build 83 out of only 130 built in 1958. The Dodge has recieved a complete restoration from the ground up, performaed by Murray Langford in Mount Gambier, costing approx. $90,000 in total. The body was completely blasted, primed with a polyurethane top coat. The brakes were resleeved and silicone filled, new glass fitted and electrics including electric ignition. The 250ci side valve 6 cylinder was totally restored including new pistons, rings, cam, and all bearings. The is fitted with a canvas covered steel frame, which is removable. the tray is currently kitted out as a camper with a fixed double bed and a slide out ladder with handrails for easy access. Additionally, the Dodge has an inbuilt toolbox, dual fuel tanks, double batteries, and sits on 17`` wheels. Currently set up as a camper complete with a double bed in the back, the rear cage can easily be removed for use of the tray. It has always been well maintained and always stored inside.
