This current shape has the latest 2.8 litre turbo diesel engine (same as the latest Hilux) which has more power, more torque and better fuel economy than the older 3.0 litre diesel.
The constant 4WD system or all wheel drive system is similat to that of a Kluger or RAV4. It can be seriously upgraded with the addition of a rear DIff Locker (the same rear difflocker that fits a Hilux will bolt straight on to this Hiace) This upgrade will allow serios off-road terrain to be tackled with ease (including mud and soft sand).
