SE Power Chooses JCB Dieselmax Engines
SE Power is well known throughout Australia and overseas for manufacturing premium quality products that are built to Australia's high standards.
SE Power has chosen to use JCB Dieselmax engines to provide the power for their larger range of megapumps. The first two larger pump sets have been built using the JCB444IPU-NA diesel engine.
This is a four cylinder, 4.4-litre, water cooled naturally aspirated diesel that delivers 81hp at 2200 rpm. It is close couple to a Selwood D200 eight inch de-watering pump that can pump 165 litres per second at a 37.5 meter of head. The fuel tank skid base has enough fuel for a full 24 hours of operation. Custom bases can be manufactured if longer running time is required.
The pumps are built to suit BMA mine spec and MDG15 electrical standards for mines Australia wide and especially NSW.
Megapumps can handle clean water, slurries, slimes, solid laden liquids, sludge and crude sewerage effectively and efficiently and have been designed and built to suit any site, be it on land or water.
SE Power have run extensive tests on this combination of diesel and pump and say they are very happy with the engines performance, commenting that it is very smooth and "sounds like it means business."
