I looked for a Stout for years. Eventually found this one which had been lightly used and garaged most of its life. It had almost no rust or dents and it ran very well. The vehicle has now been restored: Rust removed from scuttle. Bare metal respray. Painted in the original green. Tray frame repaired and repainted. New upholstery. Engine and running gear all in very good original condition. To complete project: Brakes need reconditioning. Door rubbers need fitting. Needs new floor mat. Needs new timber tray deck and sides. With this work completed, it may well be the best Toyota Stout in Australia.
